At Sjöriket’s kickoff, I met around 50 businesses for a talk and workshop on the strengths of their place – and the people and stories that bring it to life.
How do we recognise the value of what is close to home? At Sjöriket’s kickoff, I gave a talk and led a workshop for around 50 businesses. We explored the strengths of their own place and how these can provide a foundation for its development.
Local history and the people who live there were at the heart of our work. For me, thoughtful development starts with understanding a place and its everyday life. Building on what is already there helps create experiences with character and local roots.
